Corby Mind offer courses as well as our 1:1 counselling sessions and groups. These are an opportunity to improve your personal wellbeing, find coping strategies and build confidence.
All of our courses are delivered in small groups (usually between 4 and 8 people) at the Corby Mind building on Argyll Street. Some are drop-in sessions and others require booking.
In many cases, our courses are delivered by people who have had their own experiences with mental wellbeing. By running courses this way, we believe that you are receiving information from people who really understand what you’re dealing with.
Our Anxiety Management courses are designed to help you to understand what anxiety is and how to manage your own anxiety better.
Our Anger Management courses are designed to help you to understand what anger is and how to manage it better.
Mindfulness is all about paying attention to the present. Casting a fresh eye on things we may take for granted. Join us to learn tools and techniques that will help you tune into your own thoughts and feelings as well as the world around you.
Led by a qualified instructor, Tai-Chi sessions combine deep breathing and relaxation with flowing movements.
Debt and Money
A money management drop-in for anyone struggling with debt, unemployment, excessive spending or navigating through the benefits system. We can structure a plan, tackle unopened letters, clarify confusing paperwork and offer emotional support.
